The badniks are base on the badniks with the same name, that appeared in the Sonic the hedgehog games.
- Unlike the badniks used by modern Eggman, these badniks exhibited characteristic traits, such as fawning over the doctor and celebrating his birthday on their own volition.
- They are also shown to be more expressive.
