Sunset City is a city in Sonic's world. The City was known to be a merchant city for jewels. (StH: #19)
It was also the location of the Grand Gold Flicky Hotel. The city has its own local radio station, K-TBR 199.2

The city was a merchant hub for jewelry. However, it was one of the many places targeted by Dr. Eggman during the Eggman war, which included a Death Egg Robot sentinel.
Sonic the Hedgehog issue 19[]
Rouge explains the history of the town to him and Sonic goes there and fights against the robots. A villager signals to him that they are blocked but when it is time to save them, Omega intervenes and machine-guns everything without exception. Sonic tells him to calm down because it's not the Badniks he hates so much, but innocent villagers transformed by a metallic virus. Omega points out to him that he still has a lot of the robot and that he is there thanks to Eggman, to conclude for him, Eggman's Robot. He therefore continued to massacre them and Sonic reassured himself saying that we could not cause them any real damage. He then ran into Rouge who told him that all the surviving villagers had to go to the Gold Flicky Hotel. The blue hedgehog went with Rouge to protect the hotel, they talked and the bat told Sonic that Shadow was there, and that he even protected the villagers. Sonic was surprised but laughed. A villager called them for help but when the hero almost infected him, he jumped to prevent him from taking his hand and preferred to go back to fight the Zombots and went to ask Omega to protect the hotel but he replied that zombies come from all directions, which worried Sonic more. Shadow arrives in a truck. The two discussed, see, argued but Sonic ended up telling him that if he was infected, he had to run, but his alter-ego told him that only the weak courses and that only he won. The black hedgehog goes to Omega and tells him to protect the truck, Shodow fights the Zombots, boasting that no one could infect the ultimate lifeform, but having spoken too quickly, looked at his hand and was startled, but he refused to run. . Rouge asked Sonic to help Shadow without knowing that he was already infected and he was slammed against the wall by his alter-ego who had become metallic.
Sonic the Hedgehog issue 20[]
Still pinned to the wall, Sonic tried to taunt and reason with Shadow but to no avail. He escaped and fought him for a bit before returning to the main action field. Red drove the truck to dismantle Zombots. Omega stood next to Sonic but the two looked like they were arguing, and seeing Shadow running after the truck, Sonic went to see him but was sent back to square one due to being thrown by Shadow's arm. Shadow. Omega and Sonic fought again but to put an end to it, Omega picked up Shadow and threw him to the ground and the fighting resumed. The robot was destroyed, only that head remained. Silver and Tails intervene and tell Sonic to go home and for Tails to save what's left of Omega, leaving Shadow behind.

Cream and Gemerl prepare to fight Zeena, when she uses these powers to control Gemerl, the little bunny finds herself alone against Gemerl, Zeena, and her army of Zombots.
Sonic the Hedgehog issue 28[]
Cream was scared but recaptured Gemerl who went back to his side, but Zeena controlled him again. Cream wipe all the blows of his friend and take the opportunity to make a combination and made a Spin-Attack on Zeena. In response, she knocked Gemerl to the ground and then got smashed by the zombots. She took the rabbit by the ears and approached her close to the zombots but Gemerl took advantage that she no longer controlled him to take Cream back, she took the emerald from the zeti and Gemerl sent it on the zombots. The little girl reveals to her robot that she has been infected and he only sends the emeralds into the multi portal generator and they fly over Sunset City
