When Dodon Pa released his challenge to participate in his race on Planet Wisp, Team Sonic responded facing off against the other competing teams. (TSR)

Further into the race, Sonic appeared to be taking the lead, followed behind by his rival shadow, and further away the rest of Teams Sonic and Dark.
