The tracker screen on the miles electric is a homage to the motion tracker in the movie, Aliens.

The blaster created by Tails in this story is modeled after a Sega Menacer.
The text displayed when Tails locks his blaster on to Mecha Sonic is based on the logo for Sega's Lock-on technology.
