Sonic the Hedgehog: Bad Guys[1] is a spin-off mini-series of the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog series. This four-issue miniseries focuses on Dr. Starline in the aftermath of the Metal Virus Saga and what happens when the former assistant and devotee of Dr. Eggman sets up in one of the doctor's abandoned bases.

- Sonic the Hedgehog: Bad Guys is the third American Sonic comic miniseries since Archie Comics' Sonic Quest, and the third ever to focus on characters who did not originate from the video games since Archie's Princess Sally miniseries. it is also the second spinoff mini-series after Tangle and Whisper.
