Sega (originally abbreviated from Service Games and officially styled as SEGA) is a Japanese video game company founded in 1940 that owns the rights to the Sonic the Hedgehog brand which features their Mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog as the Main Character which is the company's flagship series since 1991.
