The unnamed Pine Grove Villager was a monkey who lived in that village. He was unintentionally responsible to the breakout of the metal virus on Restoration HQ.
History[]
Metal Virus crisis[]
At some point during the release of the metal virus, the monkey became infected. He then hid the infection by covering up hoimself in a large orange cloak. He was then picked up, alongside the other villagers by a convoy headed by the Vector and Espio. When the refugee passengers were dropped off, they were then lined up to be scanned by Emerl for traces of the virus. However, Gemerl was too pre-occupied arguing with Big, unaware that an infected resident slipped into the building. (2020 Annual: Big's Big Adventure)
While hunkering down inside the cramped area of Restoration HQ, he was approached and befriended by a villager from Glass Hill. However, just as he is about to turn, the latter apologized, saying that he didn't want to be alone while transforming into a zombot before the other refugees horrified eyes, it sparked the evacuation of the surviving citizens and most of the restoration staff. After Super Sonic and Metal Sonic removed and purged the metal virus, the Glass Hill villager would have been restored to normal again.
Appearance[]
The Pine Grove villager is a red furred monkey. As a refugee going to Resotration HQ, he wore an orange cloak to hide the signs of being infected with the metal virus.
Personality[]

The Pine Grove Villager like being in the company of people, and could not stand being alone. So much so, that he was willing to hide his infection because he did not want to be alone. He, however, was apologetic to the person after talking to the Glass Hill villager who went out of her way to talk to him.
