• Omochao first appeared in the game Sonic Adventure, and has frequently appeared as a supporting character in some of the later games of the Sonic series.
• Omochao's first appearance in the IDw comics was in the non-canon comic story Team Sonic Racing one-shot, where he is a part of Team Rose.
• Unlike the Omochao in Sonic Team Racing, there are multiple instances of these robotic Chao in existence.
