The device on Clutch's head seen at the end of the issue resembles the Spider Mobile.
The player pieces of the board game Half-Pipes and Pulleys are shaped like Lanolin (in her first appearance's outfit), Tangle and Whisper.
- The board game itself is a reference to Chutes and Ladders.
