This issue was originally planned to release on May 15, 2024, but was pushed back to May 29, 2024.
This is the first issue after a planned hiatus to focus on the Sonic the Hedgehog: Fang the Hunter mini-series.^[2]^[3]
In the cover A, Whisper is seen riding an Extreme Gear similar to the Angel • Devil from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.
In Cover A, Whisper is seen using an extreme gear similar in appearance to Angel • Devil with a paint job matching the color of her armor, Lanolin is using Heavy Bike, and Tangle using Roller Skates.
In one of the panels, Ian Mutchler's Sonic Forces Avatar, "Ian Jr.", is present.
On page four, Dr. Yolk calls Nick a "nincombot", a reference to what Dr. Robotnik calls Scratch and Grounder in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
