- A zombot recently barged into the Chaotix detective Agency.
- The trio escape from the building only to find the whole city in turmoil with Eggman's faceship over the city, sending the metal virus down.
- They leave behind someone infected, with Vector caging her behind some uplifted cars. Charmy promises that he will come back for her.
- Charmy recklessly flies back to the ring of upturned cars, becoming infected from the trapped citizen, who had already transformed into a zombot.
