Sonic and friends battling the badniks

At a few of those Acorn badniks were seen in the Autumn Forest Zone during Sonic and friends; quest for the Chaos Emeralds . One of them was destroyed by Knuckles , thereby freeing the imprisoned Ricky. (Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Special)

Abilities

Thanks to its propeller, this badnik is able to float and fly.

Trivia

• Although this badnik first appeared in the IDW comics, it would later appear in the SOnic Speed Simulator, and given the name Helicorn.
• The fact that a Ricky is seen freed from an Acorn Badnik can be an obscure reference to Sally Acorn, a character that has appeared in both the SATAM cartoon and Archie Comics, which preceded the IDW series in producing Sonic comics.
