Flicky Island was an island on Sonic's World that was named after the species of birds. It had been previously been taken over by Dr. Robotnik, and then Witchcart.

At some point in the past, Dr Eggman attempted to take over the Island, only to be defeated by Sonic and Tails. One of those instances involved Dr Eggman in his mech fighting Sonic in the Green Grove. Another instance was Tails and Knuckles workjing together in the Green Grove.
