Egg Base Alpha was a Eggman base was a part of a series of Eggbases named after greek letters. It serves as part the various networks for the Eggman empire, from the Badnik controls and Dr Eggman's gaming wifi.
Description[]
The tower to the East (with the distinctly crude depiction of Eggman's face) serves as an alarm tower in case the base is attacked. The tower to the West serves as a control tower for Dr. Eggman's robots. The tower to the North is a separate network used for Eggman's gaming wifi.

Appearance[]
The base is surrounded by a circular wall, which has 4 guard towers to the north, east, south and west. The inside of the base consists of low level buildings, the most prominant features are the distinct towers, each one uniquely different from each other.
- North tower: main body consists of a tall pole with curved panels, surrounding it
- East tower: This body of the tower has the logo of the Eggman empire, and has two radar dishes on top.
- West tower: The west tower is the shortest of the towers, and has a basic effigy of Dr. Eggman's head at the top. A door can be seen.
- Egg Cave:a secret place where Eggman went to focus on his model making hobby. (Annual 2020: "Eggman's Day Off") After the Faceship sunk, Eggman moved the Egg Cave and his models to Egg Base Alpha. (IS: #2)

- Egg Base Alpha is part of a series of Eggbases named after Greek letters. In the games and IDW Series, Dr. Eggman also had a penchant for naming the E-Series robots with Greek letters as well.

The name of the Egg Cave is a pun for "Man Cave".
