Echo Mine is a now abandoned mine wich was operated by the Eggman Empire during the War against the resistance (IDW Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic the Hedgehog #15)
History[]
Prior history[]
During the Eggman war, the mine's base was the site of a battle for the resistance. The Eggman Empire used its prisoners to work in the mine. A lot of people were able to escape, others did not make it.
The base was left abandoned, without so much of and signs of reserved badniks.
Infection and Big's Big Adventure[]
Worried about the return of Dr. Eggman, Amy and Sonic investigated the mine in order to gather information on what Eggman was currently planning. Amy Rose mentions the previous battle in the echo mine, due to the hedgehog being absent during that time.
