History[]

The Search for Dr. Eggman[]

Espio Avoiding Eta

E-106 Eta not noticing Espio.

After Dr. Eggman disappeared, the Chaotix of the Chaotix Detective Agency started looking for the doctor to bring him to justice. In one of the doctor's bases that they searched, Espio the Chameleon had to avoid the detection of E-106 Eta, who did not notice him. (StH: #5)

Appearance[]

E-106 Eta is a vaguely humanoid green robot with a cylindrical shaped head that gets lightly smaller towards the bottom. On top of its head is a lid with a black surface and yellow lower rim, and on the bottom of its head is a red stripe. In the front is a black face section with two red eyes, and extending out in front of the face is a golden handlebar. On the sides of its head, next to its face, it also has two black bars for shoulders. Attached to these bars are its arms, which have thick green and red forearm armor and mitten-like black hands. Its lower body consists of two stubby rocket thrusters attached on the sides of its hips. These thrusters are red on the top and have black exhausts on the bottom. It also has a gray and red flap covering its pelvis. This pelvis plate has a black upper and lower rim, and a golden handlebar with a black grip attached to its bottom. Lastly, it has "E-106 η" written on the side of its head.

Personality[]

As E-106 Eta only made one appearance where it did not do anything of significance, its personality is unknown.

Abilities[]

E-106 Eta is capable of hovering using built-in propulsion units, which serve as its main method of locomotion.

Background Information[]

E-106 Eta Archie

E-106 Eta as it appeared in the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics.

  • E-106 Eta’s existence was first introduced in the Archie Comics continuity where it was first confirmed to exist through an entry on an official Archie Comics Sonic comic blog along with other previously-unheard of robots in the E-100 Series. It would later make a physical appearance after its reboot within the Archie Comics continuity where it appeared closer in design to its E-100 series predecessors.
    • This technically makes Eta the first Archie Comics-created character to be introduced to the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog continuity despite having a different appearance.
  • E-106 Eta is part of the E-100 series first seen in Sonic Adventure.
  • E-106 Eta physically resembles E-100 Alpha, aka ZERO, another robot that originated from Sonic Adventure.
